i went to a temp agency today, and i failed word and excel testing.
the woman said if i get my computer skills up she could find me a job alot sooner.
my boyfriend has been teaching me, he works with computers at his job.
I would recommend using a good book as well, simple to start off with. Then when u get stuck you know what to ask. I took a course in it, but all they do is throw a book at you, anyway. The only way you'll learn is by doing it yourself, I think u learn better if you do it trial and error cos u get to know your subject better and u will get a better understanding of whatever you are trying to learn.

i just wanted to say thanks to all on this board,if i have a bad day i come and read some threads and just sit and laugh,some of you are so funny,if i need answers to any questions, you answer,if there is a debate going on i can't wait to read the next thread to see how it ends.you give me a reason to keep going everyday.simon ,i would also like to thank you ,if not for you this life saving sight and letting these people be themselves ,many of us would not be here to help others or ourselves.i hope all of you really realise how important you are and the help you have brought to so many.

I was out of the Borg for about 4 years before I discovered this site but it's only since facing the real issues that I've started getting things together on a bigger scale. I've got JWD to thank for this. There are all kinds of people here and I just can't leave, I wouldn't want too.
I'm going to recommend it to my brother who's been DF'd for a while, as soon as he gets his computer. I think it would help him a lot cos he's been through the whole judicial thing where as I left through the back door so to speak.

i'm prompted to ask this question as i ponder the troubling picture found on page 260 of my wife's isaiah volume two book.
as farkel noted in a previous thread related to this illustration, there's nothing inadvertant about anything depicted in their literature; illustrations such as these are calculated and group-approved for the imagery and message they convey.
as those of you with access to the book in question are aware, staring back at the reader are four cadaverous faces of recognizable members of the governing body surmounting an array of smaller portraits of a non-descript multi-ethnic and varied age assemblage of ``other sheep.".
